Altaisky Zapovednik
Teletskoye Lake, nicknamed Baikal’s little brother, is the gem of the Altai Mountains in western Siberia. Remote forests and alpine steppe, protected since the reserve’s creation in 1932, are home to bears, wild reindeer, and even the rare snow leopard.
